Who Is Steph?

I’m Steph—the founder, designer, and wool-obsessed mama behind Bumby. I started this journey in 2008 when I wanted to cloth diaper my son and couldn’t find what I needed. What began with a single diaper cover has grown into a full collection of sweaters, dresses, tops, pants, and beyond—with nearly 10,000 patterns in rotation.

Bumby is the longest job I’ve ever had, and I absolutely love it. I’m passionate about creating long-lasting garments that hold value, reduce waste, and fit well—not just once, but through growth, wear, and hand-me-downs. I care deeply about the joy these pieces bring to your homes and am proud to work with a fantastic team that keeps everything running with quality and heart.
