Overview

At Bumby, we believe in thoughtful support from the moment you click “order” to the moment your wool arrives (and beyond). From free wool care samples to daily Facebook updates and personal customer service, our goal is to help you feel excited, confident, and supported on your wool journey—every step of the way.

Key Points

  • Free wool care kit included with First Time Wool Clothing order

  • Email updates at every production step

  • Turnaround time usually under 2 weeks

  • Friendly, inclusive support through email, chat, and Facebook

  • Ethical sourcing, low waste, and inclusive sizing philosophy

We Want You to Feel Welcomed

Every order that includes Wool Clothing—comes with a free Wool Care Sample Kit valued at $10. It's our way of saying thank you and making sure you're set up for success from the start.

We also include detailed care cards with each package, so you’ll know exactly how to wash, lanolize, and love your wool.

Tracking Your Order, Every Step of the Way

We send you emails throughout your order’s creation:

  • When we review your order

  • When your fabric is cut

  • When it’s sewn

  • When we post photos (check Facebook for daily updates!)

  • And finally, when your tracking number is ready

Turnaround time is usually under 2 weeks, and diaper covers often ship out in under a week.

Slow Fashion, But Fast (and Sometimes Ready to Go)

At Bumby, most of what we create is custom made to order—designed specifically for you, right down to the size, color, and wool type. That’s the heart of our slow fashion approach: intentional, ethical, and built to last.

But slow doesn’t mean sluggish. Thanks to our incredible team and streamlined tools, we’re able to move quickly while still offering that handcrafted attention to detail.

And for those times when you need something fast and fabulous, check out our Ready to Ship section. These pieces are stocked, prepped, and ready to go off the shelf—no wait, same quality.

Ongoing Support & Real People

Ordering, sizing, and customizing can feel overwhelming at first—we get it. That’s why we make it easy to reach out:

  • Message us directly through email or social

  • Chat  with Ewegeneour wooly little sidekick who’s always around to help you find answers, guide you through your journey, and point you in the right direction

  • Ask questions in our friendly Facebook community

  • Use your Bumby Studio woolboard to plan, collaborate, and keep everything organized

  • Need personalized guidance? You can even book a one-on-one appointment with Steph to talk through your ideas, ask questions, or get capsule planning support

There are so many people in our flock who are happy to offer tips and advice.

Wool That Reflects Who You Are

At Bumby, we don’t believe in size limits or style barriers. Clothing should fit you, not the other way around. If you've felt excluded by traditional sizing—we're here for you. We’re passionate about creating pieces that work for your body, your needs, and your lifestyle.

We custom-dye everything in-house using low-impact dyes, so you can express yourself with bold rainbows, soft neutrals, or anything in between—all without harming the planet.

Sustainability & Values That Run Deep

We use organic, cruelty-free, American-made wool and support a low-waste supply chain—even our smallest scraps find a new purpose. Our process supports small businesses, prioritizes environmental health, and uplifts our amazing team.

Speaking of our team: their well-being matters deeply. We prioritize family, health, and mental wellness in the workplace. Happy people make beautiful things—and we hope you feel that in every stitch.
